Actress/singer Jana Kramer is nailing it on Dancing with the Stars, Season 23. During the sixth week of performances, on Latin Night, Jana and her professional dance partner Gleb Savchenko nailed a perfect score for their water-drenched Argentine Tango. DWTS judge Julianne Hough said Jana “owned the dance.”
When not on the dance floor, Jana Kramer is also working hard to raise awareness of domestic violence. As a survivor (her first husband tried to killed her), she is one of six celebrities behind the #PutTheNailinIt campaign. The celebrities — Michael Bolton, Kyra Sedgwick, Alan Cumming, Tamron Hall, Dave Navarro — are painting their left ring fingernails purple as a symbol and call-to-action to have people consider making a donation to support victims of domestic violence via organizations like SafeHorizon. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
