Stephen Colbert is still mad that Dermot Mulroney was cooler than he was in college. The two performers attended highly-regarded Northwestern University at the same time, a school where Colbert says the two were “friend adjacent” rather than friends. Colbert revealed he still has some ire about not making the cut for a certain campus improv show. Mulroney has no such regrets: he made it, to Colbert’s professed chagrin.
Colbert has done okay for himself since, you might say. As has Mulroney, of course. Mulroney is starring in the new drama Pure Genius, which airs Thursdays at 10pm on CBS
