In the Dance Moms episode ‘Return of the Minis’, while dance instructor Abby Lee Miller pits her elite dancers JoJo and Brynn against Kendall and Nia, the minis reappear for the first time this season. Not everyone is thrilled with the idea of Abby Lee Miller working with the minis. Jill, mom of elite dancer Kendall says: “She [Abby] can’t focus on one team, let alone two.” She adds: “I really hope these minis don’t screw it up or us.”
During a minis rehearsal, when one of the minis mom says, “We’re just as equal as them,” Abby yells “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.” Abby makes it very clear: “You are not equal.” Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
