In the Dance Moms Season 6 episode ‘Abby’s New Beginning,’ the moms are pleased to see dance instructor Abby Lee Miller in a good mood. “She sets the tone,” they all agree. Abby even promises to no longer overlook the other dancers… now that star dancer Maddie Ziegler has left. “The show must go on,” says Abby.

In the episode, Abby works with “the next Maddies” on a group routine called “The Saints.” It’s inspired by New Orleans and Abby says it “celebrates new beginnings.” She adds: “We’re not sad about the past; we’re excited about the future.” Some of the dance moms will claim that Abby is too excited about the new mini team… but that’s for another episode. Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
