On the Return to Amish episode ‘Breaking Dad,’ young father of three Jeremiah Raber steals the show. While Mary Schmucker makes an Amish meal as an attempt to bring the group together (they’re all shacking up in Kate’s apartment in New York City), Jeremiah takes his three kids sightseeing. Their mother, Jeremiah’s ex-wife Naomi Stutzman, still lives in Ohio. They were married for six years (2005-2011).
Naomi won’t appear on the show as she has in the past. She’s made her opinion of the “fake” Amish show franchise heard. She says Jeremiah was never shunned from the Amish community and “he was spoiled rotten” by his parents. Return to Amish airs Sundays at 9pm on TLC.
