Better Late than Never is a new TV show starring veteran actors Henry Winkler (The Fonz), William Shatner (Captain Kirk), and two former professional athletes-turned-TV personalities Terry Bradshaw (Pittsburgh Steelers) and George Foreman (heavyweight boxing champion). The four celebrities (all above the age of 70), are invited by Winkler to travel the world with their bucket lists. The fun starts in Asia.
Jeff Dye is the younger, less famous guy traveling with the group as a guide. The 33-year-old standup comedian got his first TV break on NBC’s Last Comic Standing (he came in third). Since then he’s had two of his own shows, Money from Strangers and Numbnuts on MTV. Dye recently demonstrated his eagerness to take on dares on NBC’s I Can Do That. Better Late than Never premieres Tuesday, August 23 at 10pm on NBC.
