Keith and Brandon Marz are the father and son team behind Marz Sprays, a line of vitamin oral sprays. They pitched their business on Shark Tank in 2012. They made a deal on the show with Lori Greiner: a $200,000 investment for 25 percent equity.

After the show aired, Marz Sprays sales surged and they got a deal with Walgreens. CEO son Brandon Marz said Walgreens ordered approximately 60,000 units but when the company didn’t pay the invoices on time, “it forced us to stop sending them more products” and “we lost momentum” and opportunities. According to Marz, Walgreens owed them $500,000. He said: “We had no choice but to file a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court.” Marz added: “The court ruled clearly that Walgreens was guilty of both breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation” and yet “Walgreens has not paid any damages toward their mistake.” A Walgreens spokesperson said the matter was settled in court.
