On the Little Women: LA episode ‘Pre-Pop Party,’ before pregnant Briana Renee is taken to the hospital, she voices her concern regarding Christy McGinity Gibel. According to the Lifetime preview, Briana “questions Christy’s involvement with her legal troubles and wonders if she [Christy] is breaking her sobriety.” In January 2015, Gibel announced she turned five years sober.
In one scene, Briana tells her husband Matt: “I don’t know what’s wrong with her (Christy). Is she taking pills?” Matt responds by pretending to pop a pill in his mouth. In another scene, Terra Jole says that she too thought Christy “was taking drugs.” Little Women: LA airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
