On The Rap Game episode ‘Run Back to Wifey,’ Jermaine Dupri decides to mix things up by separating the five kids from their managers (aka their parents). JD pairs Lil’ Key with Mani’s father. When it comes time for Mani’s father to introduce Lil’ Key to a crowd, he fumbles. Afterwards, he tells Lil’ Key’s mother, “What I did today was on purpose.” He said it with pride. Lil’ Key’s mother tells Mani’s father that he’s intimidated about Lil’ Key “that’s why you did what you did today.”
Whether Mani’s father is intimidated or not, Jermaine Dupri was not pleased that the managers didn’t take the challenge seriously. He told Mani’s father, “You’re a shady ass.” Mani’s father has demonstrated that he’s willing to do anything for his son to win but will this cause him to lose? The Rap Game airs Fridays at 10pm on Lifetime.
