Young rapper Miss Mulatto won the premiere season of The Rap Game on Lifetime. Now music producer Jermaine Dupri is looking for another winner. At his ten-week rapper boot camp in Atlanta, he’s mentoring seven new young artists. A number of his friends in the business — Snoop Dogg, Timbaland and Da Brat — will pop by and give the kids some advice and encouragement.

Nia Kay is one of the seven. The 14-year-old from Chicago is a serious artist who made her first music video when she was just 10 years old. One of her most recent videos is for her single “Adlibs,” in which she sings repeatedly: “My Adlibs is better than some of your songs.” Nia Kay says she’s inspired by Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj. The Rap Game airs Friday at 10pm on Lifetime.
