On the Basketball Wives LA, Jackie Christie convinces Shaunie O’Neal to meet with Brandi Maxiell. Things didn’t end well with the two ladies last season. After their fight in Puerto Rico, Shaunie, the producer of the show, famously told Brandi, “Thank you for your services.” Brandi later called Shaunie and apologized but then both women accused the other of trash talking each other during separate interviews.
At the reconciliation pow-wow, Shaunie asks Brandi what exactly did she say that Brandi found so upsetting? Brandi says Shaunie told a reporter that Brandi had apologized “a million times.” Shaunie interrupted, “Is that not accurate?” Of course Shaunie didn’t mean “literally” a million times but it was several times. When Brandi says, “I didn’t call you over and over pertaining to my job,” Shaunie interrupts, “You asked me specifically ‘do I have a job?'” Brandi says, “okay, okay,” but goes on and vents her frustration. “If you want me to respect you, you have to respect me,” says Brandi. Shaunie replies, “I don’t really care if you respect me.” Basketball Wives LA airs Sundays at 8pm on VH1.
