In the Flex & Shanice episode “Channeling Vegas,” Flex and Shanice book a gig headlining together in Vegas. Shanice has a lot to do to prepare for the show. When she talks about it with her mother Crystal, Crystal drops a bomb on Shanice. “Guess who else is going to Vegas?” Crystal asks. And Crystal isn’t just going to Vegas, she booked her group Crystal Penni at the Tropicana for the same night at Shanice’s show.
“You just went over my head,” says Shanice. “That’s not cool.” Shanice tells the camera later: “My mom going behind my back? I never would have expected this.” Flex & Shanice airs Saturdays at 9pm on OWN.
