InstaFire is an all natural fire-starter that can light charcoal instantly. When the two founders, Konel S. banner and Frank Weston, pitched InstaFire on Shark Tank in 2016, they already had $2.1 million in sales (in their first seven years of business). They received offers from four of the Sharks (Robert Herjavec went out) and ultimately accepted Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner’s joint offer of $300,000 for 30 percent.

Since appearing on Shark Tank, Weston became a graduate of Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Business program (see below). The program is described as “an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services.”
