Tiger Woods is writing another book. It will be his first since his 2001 book, How I Play Golf. In what’s currently called Untitled Tiger Woods 1997 Masters Book, Woods will write about winning his first major and becoming the youngest Masters champion ever. You know how it went after that – utter domination – winning 13 more majors – and then the sex scandal and divorce.
According to TigerWoods.com, the untitled book has been acquired by Grand Central Publishing, a division of Hachette Book Group. A press release says “Woods will open up about his relationship with father Earl Woods, dispel previous misconceptions and will candidly reveal many more stories that have never been told before.” Woods is quoted: “A lot of people know generally about that tournament, but this gives me a chance to tell in detail what happened on and off the course.” The untitled book will be co-written with Canadian sports journalist and author Lorne Rubinstein. The new Tiger Woods book will be released in March 2017, in conjunction with the 2oth anniversary of Woods’ win at the Masters.
