In the MasterChef episode “A MasterChef Wedding,” the top 18 cooks are divvied up into two teams. Their challenge is to prepare appetizers and entrées for a bride and groom (and their 72 wedding guests!) on their big day. Not just any couple. The groom is MasterChef Season 6 contestant Nick Nappi, Executive Chef at Bar One in San Diego’s Little Italy, and his bride is Jenelle Gomez.
Fun fact about Jenelle Gomez: After graduating from Branham High School where she played on the Boys Varsity Golf Team, she went to San Jose State University where she played on the Women’s Golf Team (2004-2008). Now the professional saleswoman is working for HouseCall Pro, a full-service tool suite that enables service professionals to run their entire business on their smartphone and complimentary web portal. Jenelle also works with Nick. She sells a lot of Nick N’s “Real Men Cook” t-shirts and tanks online. The tees go for $24, the tanks $27 (includes shipping and handling).
