Pre-sales for Kanye West’s Saint Pablo Tour began this week for American Express members and Tidal subscribers. Based on the pre-sale data, Rukkus predicts that the “average secondary ticket price to settle in around $350.” West will visit 40 cities during a two-month stretch beginning August 28 in Indianapolis. The tour is expected to sell out fast with the secondary ticket market handling high volume after the initial sale.
Rukkus, a secondary ticket marketplace specializing in sports and concert events, puts the total sales take at $60 million, $25 million more than the Yeezus Tour brought in. If the $350 average is correct, Rukkus says it will put West alone in second place for highest average ticket price this year. At $540 per ticket Adele is way out in front of the category.
