In the Person of Interest episode “ShotSeeker,” while Reese (James Caviezel) tries to protect an NYPD analyst who’s trying to fix a software glitch, he is confronted by Samaritan’s new agent Jeff Blackwell — and an ally of mob boss Carl Elias (guest star Enrico Colantoni). It’s never an easy day at the office for Reese.
Jeff Blackwell, who was recruited by Mona (LaChanze), is portrayed by Josh Close. The Canadian-born actor is known for his roles on The Blacklist (Julian Powell), Legends (Aaron Rawley), Fargo (Chaz Nygaard), Justified (Joe Hoppus), and the 2009 series The Unusuals (Detective Henry Cole) with Amber Tamblyn and Jeremy Renner, among others. Person of Interest airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS.
