In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “Fashionable Crimes,” a young model named Sally claims she was raped by famous fashion photographer Alvin Gilbert (Fisher Stevens). He calls her a little bitch who “tried to shake down my assistant.” When faced with rape charges, Alvin expects his brother Benno Gilbert to get him out of trouble.
Bennos is portrayed by Griffin Dunne. He’s known for his roles in the films Dallas Buyers Club (Dr. Vass), After Hours (Paul Hackett), An American Werewolf in London (Jack Goodman) and My Girl (Mr. Jake Bixler). Dunne recently had recurring roles on House of Lies (Marco Pelios) and Damages (Dean Gullickson), among others. He is the son of writer Dominick Dunne. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
