In the Law & Order: SVU episode “Fashionable Crimes,” a young model named Sally claims she was raped by famous fashion photographer Alvin Gilbert. He calls her a little bitch who “tried to shake down my assistant.” When faced with rape charges, Alvin expects his brother Benno Gilbert (Griffin Dunne) to get him out of trouble.
Alvin is portrayed by Fisher Stevens. He recently played Red’s lawyer Marvin Gerard on The Blacklist, was George Minkowski on Lost, and the therapist on Damages. Stevens is also recognized for his roles in the films The Flamingo Kid and Short Circuit, among others. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
