In the new AMC series Preacher, the preacher is the young and handsome Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper). He’s returned to his hometown of Annville, Texas, to take over his father’s church. While his heart is into preaching, his proclivities including violence and drug abuse haunt him from time to time. He also gets conflicted when it comes to love. His beautiful and dangerous ex-girlfriend Tulip O’Hare (Ruth Negga) knows almost all of his secrets, and then there’s the seemingly innocent young widow in town, Emily Woodrow.

Emily is portrayed by Lucy Griffiths. She’s known for her roles on True Blood (Nora Gainesborough) and Robin Hood (Marian). Griffiths is also recognized for her roles in the films The Numbers Station (Meredith), Uncanny (Joy Andrews), and Winter’s Tale with Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe. Preacher premieres on Sunday, May 22 at 10pm on AMC.
