In the first season of Wayward Pines, Secret Service agent Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) sacrificed himself to save the town of Wayward Pines from flesh-eating people. In Season 2, the new protagonist in town is Dr. Theo Yedlin. The surgeon is startled to wake up in the strange town (the last town on Earth). He’ll meet a number of townspeople including the Sheriff (Empire’s Terrence Howard) and schoolteacher Megan Fisher (Hope Davis), among others.
Dr. Theo Yedlin is portrayed by Jason Patric. He’s known for his roles in the films The Lost Boys (Michael), Speed 2: Cruise Control (Officer Alex Shaw), Sleepers (Shakes) with Kevin Bacon, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman and Brad Pitt, Rush with Jennifer Jason Leigh (Jim Raynor), and Narc with Ray Liotta (Nick Tellis), among others. Fun family facts: Patric is the son of Jason Miller (Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and the actor who played the priest in The Exorcist) and the grandson of Jackie Gleason.
