On the Empire episode ‘The Lyon Who Cried Wolf,’ while Lucious (Terrence Howard) is about to release his emotional music video about his dead mother Leah, Lucious’ son Andre Lyon (Trai Byers) discovers that Leah is alive. Andre brings Leah to the studio to reunite mother and son. Meanwhile, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) gets a visit from her sisters Candace (Vivica A. Fox) and Carol.
Carol is portrayed by Tasha Smith. She’s known for her roles on For Better or Worse (Angela), 50 Cent’s Power (Jarita), and Meet the Browns (Tanya), among others. Smith is also recognized for her roles in the films Couples Retreat (Jennifer), Jumping the Broom (Shonda), Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married, Too? (Angela), and The Whole Ten Yards (Julie). Empire airs Wednesdays at 9pm on FOX.
