In the Thicker Than Water: The Tankards episode “Love, Marriage and Madness,” pastor Ben Tankard proposes to his wife of 15 years Jewel, again. At a cabin in Chattanooga, unbeknownst to Jewel, Ben and their five children have planned a second wedding to renew their vows. “Very few can measure up to this man,” says Jewel as she wipes away her tears.
On the patio of the cabin, the couple is surrounded by their five children and two grandbabies. Son Marcus Tankard officiates. Even the youngest Tankard gets into the moment. “I thought that coming home this weekend was actually extremely inconvenient,” says Cyrene, “but this is really sweet.” She admits it “feels great to be here in this moment with them.” Thicker Than Water: The Tankards airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
