This season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta has featured the family drama of former momanger Karen “KK” King and her rapper sons Sas and Scrapp DeLeon (who’s currently in jail for drug possession). It’s no secret that in 2012, KK was featured on America’s Most Wanted when she left The A after her ex, Lyndon Smith, was kidnapped, beaten and left in the trunk of a car. Three of KK’s sons including Scrapp and Sas (Sas is the son of Lyndon) were suspected of being involved. Police suspected KK of being the mastermind behind the crime.
There was a rumor that Lyndon Smith was left dead after the attack, but he’s alive and kicking. Since the airing of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and all the family’s dirty laundry, Smith has been telling his side of the story on Facebook and is about to release a book, Dead Men Tell No Lies. The memoir will start in the mean streets of LA where he’s from, which led him to hustling and dealing drugs. It’s a story of survival. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
