There’s usually a lot of live music around Dublin, some of it free (the busking variety.) This weekend visitors to the city will have a chance to enjoy live free music while enjoying a stroll around the town. Dublin Live Music Trail is exactly what it sounds: a self-guided walking tour of Dublin that includes live music along the way at various venues, including historic landmarks such as the GPO and the Hugh Lane Gallery, as well as restaurants, bars, and 2Paragraphs’ current favorite coffee shop, Two Pups Coffee (on Francis Street, traditionally Dublin’s antiques district, now becoming gradually hipsterized.) Dublin Live Music Trail is an initiative of First Contact Music and Dublin City Council as part of the city’s A Breath of Fresh Air campaign. The trail begins at noon on Saturday, June 4, at Hugh Lane Gallery.
