In the Castle episode “Much Ado About Murder,” movie star Zane Cannon was about to make his Broadway debut but was killed on stage before opening night. Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Becket (Stana Katic) go behind the scenes to find out what Zane was worried about — besides remembering his lines. But that’s not the best part of the show. An appearance by Detective Kevin Ryan’s wife Jenny is the best part. Those on-camera sparks you see are real – the actors who play Kevin Ryan (Seamus Dever) and his wife Jenny (Juliana Dever) are married in real life.
Juliana Dever is known for her roles on Scandal (Julie Loeb) and Criminal Minds (Sheila Coakley), among others. She’s also recognized for producing and starring in the 2011 short film Retail Therapy. She and Seamus will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary this year. Castle airs Mondays at 10pm on ABC.
