Bryan Craig won Best Younger Actor at the Daytime Emmy Awards for a hugely challenging role that reminded many viewers of a major plot point in the nighttime megahit Empire. Craig, who’s making the talk show rounds after scooping up the Emmy, portrays a young man with bipolar disorder. For inhabiting the role of Morgan Corinthos, Craig has received not just artistic accolades but also kudos from Mental Health America, a leading nonprofit mental health advocacy group. (In Empire, Andre Lyon must also manages bipolar disorder — a condition not regularly examined on TV.)
Congrats @bryan_craig on your Daytime Emmy win for portraying a young man w/ bipolar disorder on @GeneralHospital! https://t.co/IPgl1yGbYN

Craig is part of a strong General Hospital crew that dominated the Daytime Emmy Awards, despite languishing in the ratings. GH took home the Emmy for both Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Drama Series Directing Team.
I just want to extend one more thank you to all of you who watch and support, all the love keeps… https://t.co/qZUWeBlyyU
