On the Thicker Than Water: The Tankards episode “Through Thick and Thin,” pastor Ben Tankard and his daughter Brooklyn still don’t see eye to eye about the past. She says that her father didn’t support her enough; he says he called her every week. Ben has apologized, but as his wife Jewel says, “You’re going have to fight for that relationship.”
Jewel suggests calling a family meeting. She tells Ben: “Honestly, honey, I expect more from you than her.” Jewel warns Ben that he’s going to have to keep fighting and making adjustments in order to move on “and love her right on through.” Brooklyn agrees to talk to Ben. She says, “I’m not going to give up on him, but I’m not going to be fake.” Thicker Than Water: The Tankards airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
