In the Heartbeat episode “100,000 Heartbeats,” while star surgeons Alex (Melissa George) and Pierce (Dave Annable) argue over if or how the hospital should provide an experimental treatment for patients with advanced-stage cancer, COO Millicent Silvano (Shelley Conn) meets the sexy, sweaty artist who’s been commissioned to fill the hallways of the hospital with his work.
[Heartbeat is based on real-life Dr. Kathy Magliato, author of ‘Heart Matters: A Memoir of a Female Heart Surgeon’]
The sexy sculptor, Wyatt, is portrayed by Christopher Gorham. He’s known for his roles on Covert Affairs (Auggie Anderson), Once Upon a Time (Wizard of Oz), Ugly Betty (Henry Grubstick), Harper’s Island (Henry Dunn), Out of Practice (Benjamin Barnes), Felicity (Trevor O’Donnell), and Party of Five (Elliot), among others. Gorham will star in the upcoming film Po; he plays a recently widowed father of a son with autism. Heartbeat airs Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
