In The Big Bang Theory episode “The Fermentation Bifurcation,” the whole gang decides to go to a wine tasting. Well, with the exception of Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) who’s pregnant and Sheldon (Jim Parsons). While those two hang out at home and share a bottle of sparkling cider, at the wine tasting, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) bump into Penny’s ex-boyfriend, Zack Johnson. who lingers around Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and his new girlfriend Claire (Alessandra Torresani).
Zack is portrayed by Brian Smith. He’s known for his roles on The PET Squad Files (Henchman), Suit Up (Bjorn Hansen), Wolfpack of Reseda (Vance), and Casual: The Series (Guy). Smith is also recognized for his role as Judd in the 2015 film Danny Collins starring Al Pacino, Annette Bening, Jennifer Garner, and Bobby Cannavale. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8pm on CBS.
