Naomi Campbell is known for being a lot of different things – a supermodel, a terror to work for, and most recently an actress. On Empire, she’s stealing scenes as the ruthless Camilla, the new manipulator behind Empire Records. In addition to her new primetime TV role, Campbell is now receiving retrospective treatment from publishing giant, Taschen.
The Germany art book company is releasing a two-volume tome, Naomi Campbell, on April 7. The cover is a pink bustier case created by artist and sculptor Allen Jones. The idea was inspired by the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen who “used to have an Allen Jones table in his home, and I used to see that table all the time but never knew the artist,” says Campbell. The limited edition (1000), Naomi Campbell, will sell for $1,750.
