Evan Le is the 4-year-old piano prodigy from Torrance, California who appeared on Little Big Shots. During his interview with Steve Harvey, Evan says he started to play the piano just three months ago. When not playing the piano, he likes to play mind-intensive games like chess. His favorite composer is Bach, btw. Harvey says, “I didn’t even know who Bach was, I thought it was a candy.”
Evan Le has written 3 or 4 compositions of his own but on the show, he performs the familiar “Flight of the Bumblebee” song — the orchestral interlude written by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov for his opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan, which was composed in 1899–1900. Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 7pm and 8pm on Sundays at NBC.
