King of All Media Howard Stern is really a teacher at heart. The instinct to instruct is deep in Stern, as anyone who listened to the weekly wisdom he generously dispensed to performers on America’s Got Talent could hear. But it’s not his TV fans that learn the most — it’s his longtime listeners.
After Stern made news yet again for teaching some aspects of the Second Amendment to his producer this week, Stern’s team asked fans what else Howard has taught them over the years. The Stern Show then posted a list of 20 things fans learned from Howard. The content predictably ranges from poignant and wise to raunchy and ridiculous. As a sample:
- There is Howard the social justice crusader. Howard taught me: “Tolerance towards homosexuals. Big breakthrough for me.”
- There is Howard the efficiency expert. Howard taught me: “Finish straight into the tissues.”
