Shark Tank investor Lori Greiner invested $300,000 for 20 percent equity in Drop Stop, the product that catches stuff that falls between a car seat and the center console. Since Shark Tank, Drop Stop entrepreneurs Jeffrey Simon and Marc Newburger have been overwhelmed with sales and reviews (Drop Stop just received its 2400th review on Amazon).
On Beyond the Tank, Greiner will visit Drop Stop and try to convince them to give up some control and hire some outside help. Meanwhile, Simon and Newburger appear on the popular podcast “The Adam Carolla Show.” Years ago the comedian did a funny bit about wanting “a seat gutter system” to catch all the things that he drops in his car while driving (listen below). Beyond the Tank airs Tuesdays at 10pm on ABC.
