Rush Hour is a new TV series taking off from the buddy cop Rush Hour films that star martial artist Jackie Chan and standup comedian Chris Tucker. (There have been three Rush Hour movies so far.) In the movies, Chan plays LAPD Detective Lee. Tucker plays Detective Carter. On the show, Jon Foo plays Lee and Justin Hires plays Carter.
The 33-year-old actor Jon Foo was born and raised in London by his Chinese father and Irish mother. Foo started practicing kung fu when he was eight, and then started training for wushu at the age of 15. Foo has appeared in several movies, mostly as a stunt performer (Batman Begins, House of Fury). Rush Hour premieres Thursday, March 31 at 10pm on CBS.
