Businessman Steve Tisch guest starred as a celebrity investor on Shark Tank in 2014. Tisch was a Hollywood movie producer before becoming co-owner of the NFL football team, the New York Giants. (Tisch inherited his ownership from his father Preston “Bob” Tisch, former Chairman of Loews Corporation, who died in 2005.) Tisch produced blockbusters including Risky Business, Forrest Gump, and American History X, among others. He has the distinct honor of being the only person who has won an Oscar (Forrest Gump) and a Super Bowl ring (XLII and XLVI).
During his time in the Shark Tank, Tisch invested (with Lori Greiner) in one company – The Cookie Dough Café, the cookie dough that’s safe to eat unbaked. (It’s not made to be baked so don’t!) Tisch said he could see The Cookie Dough Café being offered at high-end hotels. The product is available on the company website, in several supermarkets, and it’s available on Amazon but only in 8-packs (each pack is one pound) so the cost is $80.
