Moushumi is the 22-year-old from New Jersey who sang the Chris Isaak song “Wicked Game” for her Blind Audition on The Voice. Judges Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell turned their chairs (Blake’s team was full). Pharrell told her that he was impressed with the way she “navigated around the song and made it your own thing.” He referred to her voice as “something new and different and it feels super fresh.” Adam Levine chimed in and told Moushumi: “You’re voice is so unique. I’ve never heard anything so glassy.”
Moushumi chose Pharrell. Now she’s trying to navigate around the Ed Sheeran song “Photograph” with fellow Team Pharrell member Jonathan Hutcherson as they prepare for the Battle Round. They’ve been getting some extra advice from mentor Sean “Diddy” Combs. Listen to Moushumi’s glassy voice cut through “Photograph” on The Voice which airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
