On the Love & Hip Hop Reunion, Part 2, Cardi B is asked to talk about what she uses men for. She reveals that she once let a man pay her rent for six months straight because he liked her. She goes on to explain why: if a man says, “I have a wife but I want to have a good time, I say, Oh, and I have bills and I want them to be paid.” Most of the cast and audience laughed at that, Amina Buddafly did not.
Amina’s husband Peter Gunz says “that’s hoe-ing.” Cardi B argues if I give a man everything I can why can’t I get something back. Then she turns the tables on Peter: “Look what you gave Tara and Amina – babies, and that’s it.” Peter denies that’s all he gives the two mothers of his children. He mentions that he’s paying both of their rents. Although Amina says, “he pays his part,” Cardi doesn’t believe it. She goes on a rant about getting what you want from a man and accuses Peter of “making them [Amina and Tara] look stupid on TV.” Peter gets up and walks off the stage, asking “Who are you?” Cardi B says calmly, “You know who I am.” Love & Hip Hop airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
