UFC fighter Paige VanZant is one of the 12 celebrities competing on Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars. She’s been paired up with pro Mark Ballas. During camera blocking rehearsal this week – they were working on a Salsa set to “Danza Kuduro” by Don Omar featuring Lucenzo – Ballas injured his back. According to People, “It’s an old injury that he aggravated. It’s up in the air if he’ll be able to perform tonight.” (March 28).
If Ballas cannot perform, fellow professional dancer Alan Bersten will step in. The 24-year-old dancer from Minnesota became a troupe member of DWTS in February 2015. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
