Brittany Kennell is the first Canadian to compete on The Voice. After her performance of Sheryl Crow’s “Strong Enough,” she landed a spot on Team Blake on Season 10. She and Trey O’Dell have been preparing for the Battle Round with Team Blake mentor Gwen Stefani.

Since her debut on American TV, Kennell has been invited to sing Canada’s national anthem, O Canada, at a Montreal Canadiens home game. She told Global News she will be home for the March 26 game (the artists get to spend some time with family!). Kennell added: “I’m just waiting for confirmation from The Voice to make sure they’ll let me sing.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
