In the TV movie Pregnant at 17, high school dropout Chelsea falls for an older man named Jeff (Roark Critchlow). She doesn’t know he’s married, or that he’s a dog, until she tells him that she’s pregnant and he bails. When Jeff’s wife Sonia (Josie Bissett), who’s been dealing with post-miscarriage depression, finds out about Chelsea, she befriends the young woman. And when Chelsea is a threatened by a menacing young man from her past, Sonia comes running to Chelsea’s side.
Chelsea is portrayed by Zoé De Grand Maison. The 20-year-old Canadian-born actress is best known for her role on Orphan Black as Gracie Johanssen. Pregnant at 17 will premiere on Lifetime on February 20 at 8pm. It will air again on February 21 at 12am and 8pm, and February 22 at 12am.
