Rumors that Wiz Khalifa — currently in a scalding Twitter war with Kanye West — played the famous Kim Kardashian-Ray J sex tape at a show were never credible. Wiz pal DJ Bonics knocked the rumor down, essentially calling people who believed it idiots.

Wiz may have taken the high road, something he accuses West of not doing when West mentioned Khalifa’s young son in a Twitter rip. But there’s another reason a showman like Khalifa isn’t playing a Kim Kardashian sex tape on a giant screen behind him as he tries to entertain the crowd — who wants that kind of competition? Khalifa is just too smart to show a giant sex video of the woman who broke the Internet (more than once) in the middle of his performance. That tape was viewed about a billion times. People couldn’t get enough. Wiz Khalifa knows how to own the stage. He’s a master of ceremonies, par excellence. You don’t get to that level and then let the world’s most famous booty get in your way.
