During the filming of Season 6 of Love & Hip Hop, Mendeecees Harris was sentenced to 8 years in prison for being involved in a cocaine and heroin drug ring in Rochester, New York. It’s not his first time in jail but this is his longest stretch. Before Mendeecees goes away, he brings all his baby mamas and his own mother, Judy, together to get all the women on the same page when it comes to taking care of his children.
“We know we have an end date, which is important for these children, that they know I’ll be returning,” he tells the ladies. Mendeecees’ new wife Yandy says, “You look all worried, we got you,” she says. Mendeecees explains, “This is a huge leap.” His mother tries to reassure him, “They still have a father. You still alive,” she says. Love & Hip Hop airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
