Matt Tedder of Fort Worth, Texas is competing on Season 10 of The Voice. He’s the 20-year-old rocker who’s been referred to as a “young Keith Richards.” As a Stones fan, that’s music to Tedder’s ears. There are just as many photos of Keith Richards and the Rolling Stones on Tedder’s Instagram as there are of him.
Local media started to call Matt Tedder a guitar prodigy when he was 10. As a young teenager, he was invited to play the Thunder Bay Blues Festival in Ontario, Canada in 2012. And after finishing high school in Texas, at 17 Matt moved move to Nashville to pursue his music career full-time. He was chosen to represent Music City at the 2014 IBCs (International Blues Challenge), where Matt made it to the finals (top 17). Now the question is is The Voice ready for Tedder? The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
