Operating on the assumption that moviegoers are desperate to see muscle-bound men wearing muscle shirts and driving muscle cars really, er, muscly, Vin Diesel has announced that there are going to be many more Fast and Furious movies. News of the eighth installment of the international heist franchise came a while back; this morning Diesel confirmed a ninth and tenth movie. “2 decades, 10 films, 1 saga,” Diesel posted to his Instagram account, announcing the dates for the three films.

The Fast and Furious movies have raked in almost $4 billion for Universal Studios. Last year’s Furious 7 became one of the top-grossing movies of all time, earning $1.4 billion. That can buy a lot of engine oil. As yet, we don’t know much about the next three films, but you can take it to the bank (as long as it doesn’t get robbed, that is) that it will involve pimped-out cars, revving engines, awful macho dialogue, and girls in bikinis. Oh, and maybe Helen Mirren.
