After the TV special Madoff starring Richard Dreyfuss as Bernie Madoff, ABC will air “After the Fall.” The one-hour special will feature interviews with real life people who were associated with Madoff including his secretary of 25 years, Eleanor Squillari, and his lawyer Ira Sorkin. The 2011 memoir written by Madoff’s daughter-in-law Stephanie Madoff Mack will also be discussed. Stephanie was married to Bernie and Ruth Madoff’s son, Mark, who killed himself after his father pleaded guilty to running the largest Ponzi scheme in history.

Stephanie says her husband’s suicide was not an admission to wrongdoing but rather it was a result of his pain. Stephanie blames Mark’s parents for Mark’s pain. She says she holds Bernie Madoff fully responsible for her husband’s death. After the Fall airs February 4 at 10pm on ABC.
