Amelia Eisenhauer is the 15-year-old redheaded fiddler who made it to the Top 24 on the fifteenth and final season of American Idol. She started performing at the age of 6. Now she’s the lead/harmony vocalist for her family band The Eisenhauer Band with her mother Rhonda, brother Ranjo, and producer Bryan “Meanie” Ward. They perform a blend of Delta Blues, Bluegrass, Motown and Acoustic Pop and Rock songs.
According to Amelia’s website, The Eisenhauer family left DuQuoin, Illinois and moved to Music City — Nashville — in August 2012 “to seek their fortunes in the music industry.” Right before her audition on American Idol, Amelia said her dream is to have long lasting success like Led Zeppelin. American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
