Talking on SiriusXM NBA radio, the great Allen Iverson gave Steph Curry propers that he hasn’t given a “light-skinned dude” since Iverson said two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash was awesome. Once asked who he had the most trouble guarding among point guards in the NBA, Iverson immediately replied Steve Nash. “I couldn’t believe how good he was,” Iverson said of Nash. When Nash retired, Iverson — Nash’s “biggest fan” — called Nash one of the “best 2 ever do it.”
Sad 2 hear about Steve but happy he had a great career, a true PG. 1 of the best 2 ever do it. His biggest fan, AI pic.twitter.com/5YL3iUzhBm

Long retired, Iverson doesn’t have the (dubious) pleasure of guarding current MVP Steph Curry. But in the radio interview he described Curry like this:”That dude, that light-skinned dude. Ah, man. I never seen anything like this in my life. I was a certified serial killer, but this dude has it all. He got the jumper, his handle is what it is … God man. This dude right here is unreal” (Interestingly, Nash is linked to Curry by more than just Iverson’s assessment: Nash was signed as a player development coach with Golden State this summer — and he occasionally works with Curry.)
