The TV movie Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart chronicles the rollercoaster life of seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton (Lex Scott Davis). It begins as Braxton gets her start in the business. She was discovered by L.A. Reid and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds who signed her to their La Face Records label. Braxton has referred to Babyface as her “musical husband.” They sang the hit “Give U My Heart” in 1992 and reunited for her 2014 duets album “Love, Marriage & Divorce.” As the album title suggests, Braxton has experienced a lot of personal challenges since 1992, most of which are depicted in the TV movie.
