The Rap Game is a new reality competition where five kids (aged 12-16) compete for a record contract with Jermaine Dupri‘s label So So Def. Dupri has experience working with kids — he formed the popular teen duo Kris Kross (Chris Kelly and Chris Smith) in 1991. The Rap Game, which is set in Atlanta, follows the five young, aspiring rappers during an eight-week boot camp. In the season premiere, they get to meet T.I. and perform for Da Brat and Bryan-Michael Cox.

One of the youngest contestants is Supa Peach. The 12-year-old from Atlanta likes to wear a peachy pink colored cape when she raps. When she’s not rapping or singing or dancing, she’s modeling. Her family moved from the Virgin Islands so Supa Peach could launch her career. So far, so good. For the past two years, Supa Peach has been posting videos on YouTube and has generated more than 55,000 subscribers. No doubt when The Rap Game airs, she’ll have thousands more. The Rap Game airs Fridays at 10pm on Lifetime.
